ACT OF REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA

NO. 40 YEAR 2004

CONCERNING

NATIONAL SOCIAL SECURITY SYSTEM

WITH THE GRACE OF GOD THE ALMIGHTY,

THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA,

Considering:

That every persons have the right of social security to meet decent basic living needs and enhance their human value to realize a society in which there shall be welfare, justice and prosperity;
That, to provide comprehensive social security, the State develops National Social Security System for all people of Indonesia.
That based on the consideration aforesaid in letter a and b, it is necessary to establish Act concerning National Social Security System.

In View of :

Article 5 subsection (1), Article 20, Article 28H subsection (1), subsection (2), and subsection (3), and Article 34 subsection (1) and subsection (2) of the 1945 Constitution.
